Element Online Lets You Take Control
Installation Simplicity
Installation simplicity starts with serial communication. Element features a hall call interface on a simple, 4-wire drop that provides communication and power, plus serial car call connectivity, position indicators, lanterns and voice annunciator interface. Precision landing is accomplished through our advanced landing systems, LS-EDGE (Hydro® and Traction®) and LS-RAIL (Traction® only).
- Smaller controller enclosure can be wall or tank mounted, whereas the larger enclosure can be mounted on the wall or on pedestals (feet)
- Pre-wired construction mode jumper and Quick Start Reference shipped with the controller
- Traveling cable reduced to average 25 conductors

Streamlined Adjustment & Maintenance
How do we streamline adjustment and maintenance? We start with a colorful, intuitive touchscreen that simplifies parameter entry and access to diagnostics. Want to quickly update parameters? Transfer from one controller to another through a USB drive. Notice that Element Hydro® and Element Traction® components have a certain familiarity? That’s another way we streamline maintenance—with components that can be shared to reduce spares.
- Easier construction mode setup
- High speed automatic floor learning for Hydro’s
- Inspection speed automatic floor learning for Traction
- On-board advanced mnemonics that are easy to understand and relate
- Valve adjusting while observing real time linear car speed feedback on the LCD screen
- Minimal adjustment speed profiles can be chosen from the pre-configured set on Traction
- LCD screen programmable stepping distance right from the machine room
- On-board integrated scope
- On-board web browser access for parameters updates, event log management and viewing diagnostic flags
- Ability to register car calls directly from the controller LCD screen

Freedom of Choice
Freedom of choice is the reason most often mentioned by building owners when specifying non-proprietary, universally serviceable elevator control equipment. As a pioneer in the development of non-proprietary controls, we introduced the MCE Bill of Rights for Building Owners to establish performance standards against which all equipment can be measured for freedom from Proprietary restraint. All MCE controls and packages, including Element Series® are based on this philosophy.
Quote, Configure, Order, Track, Repeat
Element offers an advantage not found with other MCE controls. With Element, you’ll be able to get an instant online quote, place an online order using a PO or credit card, and set shipping options and addresses. You’ll be able to track your order after it ships. Plus, access quotes created online for up to a year and orders placed online indefinitely, all through your account dashboard. Order online today or directly through your MCE sales representative. Online orders are limited to Element Hydro controllers at this time, Traction to be available online soon.
